A 2017 study summary from the Journal of Investigative Dermatology (vol 137, no 10, p.1016) examining how sunlight exposure combines with urban air pollution to accelerate skin damage in city populations aged 25-45 years.

We fight pollution with every product, including our Antioxidant Balancing MistMoisturizersEye CreamTreatmentsExfoliating Mud Mask and Cleansers.

Although few studies were published on the effects of chronic exposure to pollution, clinical studies remain scarce. We thus conducted a multicenter clinical study to further investigate the chronic pollution impact on skin clinical signs, particularly on a young population.

Pollution seems to particularly enhance the spread maculae and simplex lentigos. Along with the contribution of UV exposure to skin aging, these results strengthen the importance to target the photo-pollution stress for women living under urban pollution.
